    Adam has 25 years TV experience directing and producing high-profile factual documentaries for the BBC, for UK terrestrials and for international broadcasters and platforms.

    Adam makes films with tricky content ideas and in hard-to-negotiate environments. For his 2021 film 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room, he secured the only television interview with George W. Bush for the twentieth anniversary of the attacks. The documentary won or was nominated for a collection of awards, including: BAFTA, RTS, Rose D’Or, Broadcast Magazine, British Press and Real Screen. He was awarded the Best Factual Director from the Royal Television Society. It was watched by 6.5 million people in the UK and many more on Apple TV+.

    Previously, Adam made films across a range of subject areas – medicine, science, global affairs, terrorism, true crime and constructed reality – and has won various awards and accolades, including: an RTS for Back to the Floor: A Class Apart (BBC Two) and the British Documentary / Grierson award for Monkeys, Rats and Me: Animal Testing (BBC Two), and nominations for The Price of Life (BBC Two) and 23 Week Babies (BBC Two).

    In addition, he has also published two books. One In Three: A Son's Journey into the History and Science of Cancer was runner-up for the Royal Society Book Award.

  • SERENA KENNEDY

    CO-FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE IN CHARGE

    Serena is a seasoned Line Producer and Head of Production with several hundred hours and over 100 titles under her belt.

    Her credits span series and singles, feature documentaries for cinema and TV, current affairs, reality formats, observational documentaries, docu-drama, drama shorts, daytime, features, factual entertainment and childrens. She has looked after BAFTA and RTS award winning productions with high profile directors, that have premiered at Sundance and Sheffield. She has overseen productions for all the UK terrestrial channels and many streamers, including Apple, Amazon, Discovery and Nat Geo in the US.

    She is the proud winner of the inaugural British Documentary (Grierson) Awards Hero Award in 2021 for her work on two huge productions: Edgar Wright’s critically acclaimed cinema feature documentary, The Sparks Brothers; and the BAFTA and multi award winning 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room (BBC One/Apple TV+).

    Her other recent credits include: The Greatest Show Never Made (Amazon); Take Your Knee Off My Neck (Channel 4); Blind Ambition (BBC Four); Stacey Dooley Investigates: Spy Cam Sex Criminals (BBC Three) and Panorama (BBC One).

    FREELANCE CONSULTANT & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

    Neil is an experienced Executive Producer across feature length documentaries, specialist factual, current affairs and investigations, factual entertainment and daytime.

    Over thirty five years his programmes have won numerous awards, including a best factual series BAFTA and three other BAFTA nominations, as well as Grierson; Broadcast; Broadcast Digital; Real Screen; British Journalism; Foreign Press Association, RTS and Rose D’Or awards.

    With over 100 TV credits, his documentaries have received considerable popular and critical acclaim, delivering to both network and digital broadcasters. Neil has also served as an elected member of the BAFTA TV Committee, jury member and chair for the BAFTA awards, as well as serving on RTS, Grierson, One World Media, and Broadcast award juries.

    His credits include: 9/11: Inside the President's War Room (BBC One/AppleTV+); Is Labour Anti-Semitic? (BBC One); The Murder Detectives (Channel 4); The Paras (ITV); Greggs: More Than Meats The Pie (Sky1); Auschwitz in Colour (Channel 4); The Boys Who Killed Stephen Lawrence (BBC One); The Yorkshire Ripper’s New Victims (Channel 5); Charlie Hebdo: 3 Days That Shook Paris (Channel 4); The Oklahoma Bomber (BBC One) and Fighting the War (BBC Two).

    SERIES PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

    Jim is a multiple award-winning documentary series director and producer

    His critically-acclaimed docu-dramas include: the Real Screen shortlisted Taking Fire (Discovery); The RTS nominated Murder In The Car Park (Channel 4); Ken and Barbie Murders: The Lost Tapes (Paramount+); CSC award winner Breakout (National Geographic) and Madness In The Fast Lane (BBC One).

    Jim’s other notable streamer TV credits include: King Charles: The Boy Who Walked Alone (Paramount+); writing for Oligarch’s Wives (Paramount+); Web of Death (Hulu) and The Tetris Murders (Discovery+). Other TV credits include: Locked Up Abroad (National Geographic); Pariscience Medal winner Morphed (National Geographic); How to End Your Nuisance Calls (Channel 4’s Dispatches); Manhunt (BBC One) and Situation Critical (National Geographic).

    He is also a published novelist in fiction and non-fiction and a trained journalist with Fleet Street experience. His fiction novels for Harper Collins - Alone with the Dead, Dance with the Dead and Games with the Dead - have been optioned by Viacom for a TV drama series. He has ghost-written two best-selling non-fiction books. Shallow Graves for Ray Fysh is regularly number one in Amazon’s forensics list and was shortlisted for the 2023 True Crime Awards ‘Best New Author’ award. Unsung Hero by Kevin Fulton, is also a best-seller and has been optioned by Appian Way - Leonardo Di Caprio’s production company.

    JUNIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

    Leah is an established junior production manager with a track record across a variety of genres. On completing her degree in Television Production, she cut her teeth as a production coordinator in live sport and outside broadcast.

    Since moving to Bristol, she's worked on formats including The Dog House (Five Mile Films); Who Do You Think You Are (BBC Bristol) and The Simpler Life (Channel 4). She works across all our documentary output and enjoys working to create a positive and supportive space for our teams.
